RV Amp-Draw Calculator

The number that decides whether an air fryer belongs in your rig isn't quarts — it's amps. Pick a model (wattage from its official documentation) or enter any wattage, add what else is running, and see what your hookup can take.

How this works

Amps = watts ÷ volts. RV shore power in North America is 120 V, so a 1,500 W air fryer pulls 1500 ÷ 120 = 12.5 A — over 40% of a 30-amp service on its own. Air-fryer wattages in this calculator come from each model's official documentation (linked in our database); the "also running" figures are typical values only — your equipment's actual draw is on its rating plate. Breakers trip at sustained loads near their rating; a common rule of thumb is to stay under ~80% continuous.
